This heavyweight linen wool fabric features a diamond twill weave, inspired by textiles from the Viking Age.
Woven with undyed natural linen (9s yarn) in the warp and wool (7nm) in the weft, it has a dense, structured body and a soft handfeel thanks to pre-washing.
Ideal for historical reenactment, cloaks, outerwear, or rustic interior projects, it balances durability with authenticity.

Hi there, I have just discovered your totally gorgeous fabric. Unfortunately some of the fabric I would like to buy is out of stock. Do you regularly restock the same fabrics or do you then introduce new fabric. I'm particularly interested in the broken diamond heavy weight twill in dark navy. And some of your other blue coloured fabric. There are too many to list! I'd love to hear what you usually do with out of stock lines. thanks you. Michaela from Australia
For this item, we will restock it, but it may take 3~4 months from now (2026 June).
Please email at support@linenlab.co.kr for more support.

Would this fabric be appropriate for an upholstered dining chair or would it likely pill?
To be honest, both linen and wool naturally tend to pill over time, especially on a high-friction surface like a dining chair.
While the fabric is strong enough for upholstery, if you are very worried about pilling, a linen-wool blend might not be the best choice for this specific project.

What would you recommend for washing (especially pre washing) this fabric? I am planning a 30 degree gentle wash with wool detergent and hang dry. Any suggestions?
Gentle handwash in cold water would be best. Dry cleaning is also okay.
If you want to use a washing machine, please use a gentle cycle.
Line dry would be okay
