I’m making linen curtains for a cupboard , is the weight of this too heavy ? Should not for a lighter weight ?
This fabric is a bit on the heavy side for most garments, so it’s best suited for outerwear like jackets or coats.
As for curtains, it really depends on the look you're going for. If you want something lightweight or sheer that lets the light through, this might be too heavy. But if you’re looking for a more substantial, opaque curtain, this would work well.

It says it's heavy weight. Is it heavy enough to keep my head warm if I use it for a hat? I've looked at your wool broken diamond twill, but you don't have it in this pretty green.
It’s considered a heavy-weight linen, but just to clarify, it’s not warm like a winter furry hat. Linen doesn’t trap heat the same way, so it won’t provide that kind of winter-level warmth. It really depends on how warm you’re looking for.

Is this weight appropriate for a shroud?
Sorry, I am not familiar with fabrics for shrouds, so it's difficult to answer this question.

Is there ever a chance of you offering this pattering in a solid blue, as that was most appropriate for the period.
I'm currently working with a dyeing mill to create a historically accurate solid blue color. It’s going to take at least a few weeks to get it right. (December 8, 2024)
