Heavy and wooly

I got my order quickly. I’m not sure what I will do with this fabric. It feels like it might be a bit scratchy and need a lining. The color is camelish and the weight is very nice. I am intrigued with the linen-wool blend. I cannot really feel the linen; feels like wool. I think I will prewash a swatch and see how it comes out before deciding how to proceed. All in all, it is a beautiful, fluffy, kinda of hairy fabric. I’m very pleased with my purchase.

To be honest, both linen and wool naturally tend to pill over time, especially on a high-friction surface like a dining chair.While the fabric is strong enough for upholstery, if you are very worried about pilling, a linen-wool blend might not be the best choice for this specific project.
