Yes, we do use a fabric softener during the pre-wash. You may consider it a “chemical,” but it is a standard, industry-approved softener that does not contain any harmful substances.
We mix the softener with water, immerse the fabric, and then dry it in a tumble dryer. This process helps stabilize shrinkage and gives the fabric a softer, more comfortable handfeel.
The color doesn’t bleed in normal laundry. Over time, with repeated washing and use, the color can slowly fade — this is normal. Please avoid using bleach to keep the color looking good.
