The weft, featuring a high-twist black rayon filament yarn, contributes to a slight natural tension on the weft side and a subtle glossy finish.
With a composition of 68% Linen and 32% Rayon, this fabric embodies the perfect balance between durability and sophistication. Weighing light to medium at 197 g/sqm (5.81 oz per square yard) and generously measuring 58 inches in width (147 cm), it offers versatility for a range of creative projects.
Our pre-washed fabric ensures a soft handfeel, enhancing the overall comfort of your creations. The natural elasticity provided by the rayon filament adds a practical touch, allowing for ease of wear.
Is this fabric machine washable?
Yes, it is machine washable! However, we recommend using a gentle cycle and ironing the fabric on a low temperature setting.
Please note that because the weft (horizontal yarn) is made of rayon, the fabric will experience about 4–5% shrinkage in the weft direction after washing. The great news is that if you iron it, the fibers will stretch back out, bringing the final shrinkage down to just 1–2%.
